Do Christians need a feeling to believe God, or do they trust Him based on historic evidence? Christians do not need a "feeling".  We dont need to "Read the Mormon book and pray about it"... 👉 We trust God. We have evidence from Scripture, Creation and History. Yes we have a miracle at conversion too, but feelings are irrelevant to facts.  In Jesus time, He brought the true teachings from God back to the people, who were living under apostate legalistic faith. Why do we all die? Death stalks us from the moment we have life.  God tells us in Scripture, "The wages of sin is death."  Even though we have the sin nature, inherited from Adam because of the Fall in Eden, God is gracious, kind, and patient and allows us to live our a life on this sin stained earth, when he could have just killed Adam and Eve and started over.  Why did God allow humans to live after they sinned?  God wanted to show He is the God of Love, graciousness, kindness, mercy, and his other attributes he would not be able to reveal to us, and to the angels, if he just killed us and started over.  Many of God's attributes would never be on display, and no one would ever know they existed.   While death entered the world by Adam and Eve's sin, the death didnt kill them instantly. I need what that will help me become closer to God. I grew up in KJV and was looking at other translations (like NKJV etc), but people online are saying I should read KJV only.  What should I know about this to look into it properly??
