Q:  I am hindu (but now am not believing in our god). I am interested Christianity, but I don't know much or how to convert.  A:  To understand truth, and become Christian, we need to understand who God is, and what the Gospel says.  This has a basic explaination of God, and you should read Genesis 1-11 as well as the Gospel of John. As a believer we grow deeper and deeper in our understanding of holiness and growing more and more in Christlikeness. We grow deeper beyond the surface understandings as we are more mature. If we dont get that far we stagnate and might self righteously 😬 think we are mature but later find we are far from it. Q: I am really struggling to hear God's voice speak to me, so I really need direction and godly guidance. I'm trying to stay the course, submit to Him and trust His timing, but... Q: Can anyone offer information as to why the Apocrypha was declared "writings of men" and not divinely inspired? Although I have never thought it should be, but never looked into the history and decision to keep them out or have them removed. This historically is not a Christian holiday, and was started in the Catholic religion. We wouldn't use it as they do. Just don't connect it to Catholicism. But since it's a continuation of Hallows Eve or Halloween, basically the day after Oct 31st, it could be used to educate your kids more about death & the gospel. And to teach/ remove the fear of death for those who are believers.  Human spirits and skeletons just represent humans those who have died and gone to their eternal destination.  However we celebrate Resurrection Day on [easter], so don't really need ASD but theres continuity. Q: I am on a journey to a life with God and Jesus, but I find myself grappling with certain controversial aspects of the Christian faith. These conflicting beliefs have distanced me from the church in the past, and I'm curious about how others handle similar challenges. Some people who are unreliable, take on roles outside what Scripture allows, and should be avoided are listed here.   This is a discernment and maturity issue.  There are many unbiblical, false teachings & beliefs subtly or outright propagated by many so called Christians, and those given platforms who shouldn't have them . Nor be listened to.  First of all, women should not be preaching or teaching Bible focused topics or theology that men can should teach on. Men can also teach on women topics, but "older" mature believers  can also address childrearing  and on ways to instruct younger women on how to love their husbands. It's supposed to be for godly wisdom and right living as a wife and mother, not to be about teaching all the areas of Scripture to women.
