Updated 2025 If links to books and resources are broken try copying the link address to see what site it goes to and try to search that topic phrase, dvd, digital content, podcast, book name and author there, to see if the link location changed to a streaming service of same ministry name or had a website revamp, or look the book up at another Christian bookstore or Amazon if the link is broken, to still find the book. One example is Wretched.org merged into a new site called Fortis, and we're (searching & updating) updating all our links (Feb Mar April 2025) to redirect to the content there as it's found, as available. Some video and radio programing content may be moved into their new app and not on the website directly now, so we're working on locating that, so you can be directed there to access it. Scientific Death of Jesus At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to death. At the time, crucifixion was the "worst" death. Only the worst criminals were condemned to be crucified. Yet it was even more dreadful for Jesus. Unlike other criminals condemned to death by crucifixion, Jesus was to be nailed to the cross by His hands and feet. Each nail was 6 to 8 inches long. The nails were driven into His wrist, not into His palms as is commonly portrayed. There's a tendon in the wrist that extends to the shoulder. The Roman guards knew that when the nails were being hammered into the wrist, that tendon would tear and break, forcing Jesus to use His back muscles to support Himself so that He could breathe. Both of His feet were nailed together. Thus He was forced to support Himself on the single nail that impaled His feet to the cross.
