Why Covenant views in Reformed circles hold to wrong views ⭐
For those Reformed and Covenental in secondary views, examine the contents here, and give it a good look biblically, before you ragingly cling to what you think is right. Note these are secondary matters but they are important. In a nutshell, the real answer to the whole thing is that the Reformers came from Roman Catholicism. When they began reforming, they concentrated on immediate concerns having to do with salvation issues, indulgences, etc. The finer ecclesiastic issues, not to mention eschatology, was way down a list they would not address prior to martyrdom. They never got that far. Even Luther still clung to his error concerning the Jews, with the opinion that the "Jesus murderers" ought to be killed. This is right out of Roman Catholicism. Had the Reformers lived, they would agree, I have little doubt, they would come to believe in believers baptism, Premil pre trib end times, and that God is not done with Israel, as Paul asserted in Romans 11 in particular.
