The Rapture

The Rapture is a more modern word to describe the Bible event of being "Caught up" to Heaven by Jesus. Rapturing examples  Genesis 5:24 tells us, "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because πŸ‘‰ God took him 2 Kings 2:1  πŸ‘‰ the Lord was about to take  Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind 2 Kings 2:11  As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, πŸ‘‰and Elijah went up to heaven  in a whirlwind.  1 Thessalonians 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be  caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever Revelation reads as it happens; one thing and then another. So chapter by chapter it plays out. The rapture "being caught up" is when the groom calls the bride out of the world, and we go to the wedding feast [while the world goes thru tribulation]....

"Jesus is Love"

Image
Q:Isnt the Christian message "Jesus is love"  No. This is Progressive liberals "Old model theology" belief. It is not Biblical .  "God is love, Jesus is love" is their false mantra.  They say: "Jesus loves us and was such an example and model for us that he went to the cross he really showed what love is (period).  It was Jesus showing what it means to give himself." πŸ‘‰ They never explain *why*  he really went to the cross !! A: πŸ’₯He died for sinners, πŸ‘‰for our sins. Note:  If he was just a model of love sacrifice and giving... then we have no forgiveness of sins. And the Jesus of that theology isnt a model, its insanity. Thats like "A man runs off a pier and just drowns"... thats not love. Thats insanity. Dying for no purpose and no point. 🀷‍♀️ BUT if you knew someone did something stupid and was now drowning, and a guy raced off the pier and dove in to save him, and drowned while doing so, you would go wow Now THAT is Love ....

God's loving discipline

Image
Q: A preacher said: " God disciplines those He loves, in making us weak He loves us, if he causes us to be ill, He is loving us, even if He takes our life, he is loving us".  Can you explain this, because it sounds like a relationship a person should flee from to get help. (?) A: Are you assuming God is abusing His people? Far from it. God is our loving Heavenly Father, our Creator and Savior, our sustainer, guide and our life. If your father doesnt discipline you to lovingly correct you... then he is not a good father. I am sure your parents corrected you a million times from birth to age 20. Likely still advise you for helpful guidance & correction in your 40s as well.  The main reason people do not grasp this issue on a spiritual level regarding the good and perfect God, is that they do not read the Bible, and their   church lacks "church discipline", so the concept is foreign.   See  Hebrews 12:5-6  God always has the best in mind for His chil...

understanding sin 2.0*

Understanding sin a bit deeper and clearer  Sin, It's deeper and broader than we think .  Read Mark 8:31-38 for context.  "The one who loves his life loses it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life." (John 12:25)... is saying > you must hate your fallenness, your sinfulness, your pride, your self righteousness. Be So desperate to be delivered from sin and run to salvation.  This points also to Jesus talking to the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17-27). > Sell everything. You get rid of it all, be bankrupt. Come thirsty, shattered and in mourning over sin. Same with the pearl parable. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.  (Matthew 13:45-46) Get rid of sin and grab hold of salvation. That's what these are talking about. Count what you treasured as trash and grab hold of the offer of salvatio...

pope admits purgatory is not real

Pope admits purgatory is not real Purgatory is not biblical at all. I remember being stunned to read in the news in the 2000s that the catholic's recent pope admitted this.  He basically said " purgatory isnt real, it's just something they hope exists, otherwise people are doomed."   Well duh 🀦‍♀️why do you think Scripture warns so much about Hell and our need to be right with God (thru Jesus) before we die. And it is why Christians keep telling you, you need to flee to Jesus. The Jesus of Scripture. Vatican says: it is clear from Scripture and catholic tradition that the means of regeneration provided for this life do not remain available after death, so that those dying unregenerate are eternally excluded from the supernatural happiness of the beatific vision (John 9:4, Luke 12:40, 16:19 sqq., 2 Corinthians 5:10…) (Toner, Patrick J. Transcribed by Simon Parent. The Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume IX. Published 1910. New York: Robert Appleton Company. Nihil Obst...

Caucasians in Bible

Are white people in the Bible?  The question is odd to ask knowing the Bible centers around Israel, Middle East, and Egypt, but overall it also has a focus on the world. So, I'm assuming a racist person is asking this, or also a black supremcist, but if not and it is a genuine curiosity of someone who never read the Bible yet, this article (here) will clarify. First, note, the same could be asked:   Are there black people in the Bible?   Not only are the asian middle easterners like the Jews considered white by the US Census bureau, many Greeks and Romans had light skin tones, and some had slaves who were from Germanic and Slavic regions. But the Bible includes all humans of the entire existence of mankind from start to finish. Stop bring racist towards caucausian/"white" people. Stop being anti-semetic too.  Scripture warns "Do not to pay attention to [those who focus on] myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furtherin...
