Q:How can we articulate to someone examining Christianity the difference between The Code of Hammurabi and the Law of Moses. I know that God allows things or directs them, but why didnt he prevent horrible things like the Holocaust from happening? He can do anything? Actually Scriptire tells us all sin is sin and that one sin committed in our lifetime is enough to damn us for eternity. The wages of sin is death. And all who die in their sins will spend eternity in a prison of punishment recieving God's wrath. The amaxing thing is we all deserve that but God in his grace and mercy offers forgiveness thriugh Christ.
