FAQ - Get Answers

Q:Why do we need apologists to “apologize“ for the Bible? Why do we need people like William Lane Craig or Frank Turek or Cliff Knechte & others to speak in such confusing philosophical parameters, to explain to us concepts that should be crystal clear to anyone reading the Bible? Why do we need scholars we hear about to clear up all the thousands of misconceptions and misinterpretations of the Bible? If we put 100 people in 100 different rooms and ask them simple Christian doctrine questions like how do you get to heaven, what is the Trinity, or what is the book of Revelations about, etc. We get 100 different answers. To me, this is why Christianity is so obviously a man-made philosophy. A God would have no reason to be that confusing.  Edit: My Mormon friends tell me the exact same thing. Q: I've been seeing a lot of people in Christian groups or forums online recently telling people that Christians need to abide by the Mosaic Law, particularly regarding the Sabbath and dietary rules. (I'm not sure why those are their main concerns, seeing as there was so much more to the law, including clothing, stoning and sacrificing, etc.). I suspect they are in cults or have been taught wrong by flawed church teachers & preachers who are weak in the knowledge of Scripture.  A:  I've also seen a lot of others concerned by these things with Christians asking if we need to follow the Old Testament laws, since those trouble makers and decieved ones are causing anxiety in new and weak believers. Let's address this here... I recommend that everyone read through Galatians, especially chapters 2–5.
