Jewish OT Hell

OT on Hell The problem with Jewish belief against Hell, is that they do not read the Old Testament, but a commentary of it. They dont know the Scriptures because they do not read it. Another reason most Jewish people don’t believe in hell is that Christianity teaches the doctrine of hell. Anything identified as "Christian" is often rejected outright as not Jewish. They deny truth because they hate God, and have made up a false god to suit their sins. God has been clear about eternal damnation. those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (Daniel 12:2) many of the passages that speak of Sheol do so in terms that bespeak judgment, such as Isaiah 14:15 “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the pit.”  Not only is the doctrine of hell fully revealed in the NT, but it is also entirely in harmony with the revelation in the OT, which teaches that God will have His day in...

What is the Bible

Image
What is the Bible ? Why do I ask that question? I have found a lot of people look on the Bible as just a guide book to life and/or a book of spiritual and moral matters. But the Bible is not just a book one adds to their thinking. The Bible over 3,000 times claims to be the Word of God. We are told that God knows everything, being infinite in knowledge and wisdom. “For whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything” (1 John 3:20). “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure” (Psalm 147:5). “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable” (Isaiah 40:28). The Bible is a revelation from God to man, from the one who knows all things. This means the Bible gives the key information God has revealed to us to enable us to have the right foundation to build the right way of thinking about eve...

Is the Bible a Science Text Book

During a radio talk show, a caller once asked me the question, “Is the Bible a science textbook?” Of course, secularists would say the Bible is not a science textbook. They would claim it’s a book of mythology. So, how did I answer the caller’s question? I said, “Well, I’m glad the Bible is not a science textbook like the ones they use in school because those textbooks basically change each year, but the Bible doesn’t change. The Bible itself states, ‘Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens’” (Psalm 119:89). In fact, there are many verses of Scripture to tell us that God’s infallible Word, unlike man’s fallible word, lasts forever: “‘But the word of the Lord remains forever.’ And this word is the good news that was preached to you” (1 Peter 1:25). “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever” (Isaiah 40:8). So, is the Bible a science textbook? Well, first of all, we need to understand what the word “science” means. The word “science...
