Q:  I am hindu (but now am not believing in our god). I am interested Christianity, but I don't know much or how to convert.  A:  To understand truth, and become Christian, we need to understand who God is, and what the Gospel says.  This has a basic explaination of God, and you should read Genesis 1-11 as well as the Gospel of John. A Christian married a Hindu man and the husband turned to Jesus, and she met and discussed Jesus with her father in law. He believed that all god's were the same. She asked him since he believed that, did he also believe the Bible is God's Word? He replied that he did. Hindus have a few ideas about Jesus. He thought of Jesus as a "good" man like Gandhi. I then shared the Gospel with him. I shared John 14:6. "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." But couldnt wrap his head around that. He couldnt reconcile what hinduism taught about Jesus with what Jesus said about himself in The Bible. There's also a lack among believers to share the gospel with people of those major world religions or even cults and they might not even know about apologetics and evangelism books or training to help someone like her father in law, to clarify and lead him thru the things he as a Hindu needs to know.
