Assaulting God's Character 411
The title of this post alone should be enough to cause any believer to be horrified 😱 to realize "I am actually assaulting God's character by Complaining, having inGratitude and disContentment in thoughts, words and various situations in my life, - and this must stop. I need to conquer this sin immediately." There is a difference between having to lovingly confront those who sin against you since it actually is a sin against God vs you sinning against God; complaining about problems in your life where you want everything to always go your way, or coveting or wanting what you want. Pride, self righteousness, entitlement attitudes etc are sin. Sin is at the core of all our problems. God needs to mold us and shape us into the image of Christ; perfecting us by growing us more Christlike.
