Explaining how Jesus is God and Son of God
Q: Is Jesus God, or the Son of God? How can he be both? I’m so curious about this topic. A: Jesus is God, of the triune God. God is: Father, Word and Holy Spirit. Jesus in eternity was God, known as "The Word". When a Father sent a son in old testament times, he was sent by the father's authority, with authority to carry out the work as a representative. He was viewed as the Father being there in his behalf. Read the parable of the wicked vineyard workers who leased the land from the owner. For example. Jesus came as a representing of the Father. "You see me you've seen the Father, we are one". One in same essence and nature; perfect. The God who is I AM; the eternal One. The Word took on flesh, born to the world as Jesus. The God Man. 100% God and 100% man. This is how he is the Son of God. And by God creating him in Mary's womb... the 2nd Adam without a sin nature. Not born by Adams seed, but by the will of God the Father. The Word speaks trut...
