Q: I had a strange experience at work today. There was a pamphlet sitting next to the register I work at that was about the revelation and end times.  I asked my manager about it and how it got there, he said he wasn't sure and asked if I was religious.  I explained to him that I don't consider myself religious but a follower of Jesus. He was trying to argue with me, first telling me that we are all our own gods. I was not arguing with him, I just smiled and listened and kept my cool. I thought of my Jesus and what he would have done. But basically my boss thinks we are our own gods & that religion uses God to control you so that you can't live to your full potential.  I tried to tell him how the Bible helps me, I explained that following Jesus has greatly effected and helped my mental health.
