Q: if God has said women cannot be Preachers or have authority over men in church nor the home... what if she is highly educated in Scripture, languages, history etc from University, what can she do with that knowledge? Can she not write a Commentary or other helpful books?  Men learned by their mom and grandma growing up like Timothy, until he became a man. But the husband should be a believer leading the home and be spiritual leader, even then. If single parent today or husband isnt saved, at least the children are influenced by the mother for Christ.  Women can chat online in fellowship but men need to examine what's said vs blindly agreeing with a women. Are Catholics Christian and are Catholics saved? In USA many "Christians" think catholics are Christian, but upon examination of their religious beliefs you will find they actually are not. There are some reasons for church splits.  A pastor gets divorced, or his wife divorces him.  There could be legitimate reasons. Sexual sin/Adultery? Yeah that disqualifies him immediately. But if she divirces him, is it because he is abusive? Hes disqualified from pastor position. But if she says he spends all his time in ministry and neglects her (and possibly the kids) and his home, then he should work to fix it. He should delegate work to the elders or deacons. A pastors job is to preach the Word, and at the end of a church discipline matter bring it to the church. The rest should be 99% of the time, work delegated to elders or referred out to biblical counselors. That should fix the issue, and she shouldve addressed it before. Now they could also agree on how many and the most important conferences of the year he can go speak at or learn from (if not avail online). Those are not local church things, where his focus should be. But... if she is insistant she no longer wants...
