Q: Withdraw from church and hide in our home?

Through studying Scripture, My husband and now align more with reformed views. Well yesterday our pastor had a talk with my husband and eventually told him that he shouldn't take communion on Sunday with our church. The pastor tried to covert him to Baptist. When my husband said no, he was told he wouldn't be a member of the church and was advised not to take communion. We are at a lost at what to do. We have decided to continue our family church at home. Does anyone lead a home church? Is there any advice anyone can give? A: Is there a sin issue the pastor brought up that caused the decision to run away from the chyrch? Are you refusing church discipline or is this simply about communion? If it was the pastor trying to explain Christianity; since all modern Christianity is from the reformation, then you choose to not listen to him, or he called out something as legut sinful and you refused to repent of it then yes abstaine from communion as Scripture is clear. Critiquing false teaching in books *

Critiquing false teaching in "Christian" books. One reason I always say be wary of reading Christian books is because there are false teachings everywhere today. Publishers will buy any semi known or well known person if they think they can profit off of their popularity. They no longer care about biblical truth and biblical teaching, they care about money. Do not be swayed by the popularity of the book, (or people in church groups who want to do a book study using them 😑😒).  If you find a reputabable ministry and preacher (here are some, enough to keep you busy your entire lifetime), utilize their sermons and books for study.  Whether alive or dead their books are solid and reliable, and worth reading. Much of their publications are based on and come from a series of sermons which they condensed into a book for you, and can be used as gifts you can give to others to minister to them (saved and unsaved).  My belief is, we should know the Scriptures of God very well be...
