The 4 Gospels were written by those in Israel Matthew= wrote account for the Jews Mark = penned Peter's account of it Luke = put it all in order as a historian John = write a synopsis for the Jews who were away from Israel (or living in other countries like Asia). Each Gospel itself had a purpose in it's writing. This explains in a nutshell . In this Historical Account of Jesus Christ the writers all said the same thing. Think about the same story told in different newspapers that tell of the same historical event that unfolded, like America's Independance, the Holocoust or a Presidential election explained from a different angle. When it's put together, like in this case, you get a great historical account of the life of Jesus Christ, who he is, what he did, who it was for, and the rest of it.
