Q:Why do we need apologists to “apologize“ for the Bible? Why do we need people like William Lane Craig or Frank Turek or Cliff Knechte & others to speak in such confusing philosophical parameters, to explain to us concepts that should be crystal clear to anyone reading the Bible? Why do we need scholars we hear about to clear up all the thousands of misconceptions and misinterpretations of the Bible? If we put 100 people in 100 different rooms and ask them simple Christian doctrine questions like how do you get to heaven, what is the Trinity, or what is the book of Revelations about, etc. We get 100 different answers. To me, this is why Christianity is so obviously a man-made philosophy. A God would have no reason to be that confusing.  Edit: My Mormon friends tell me the exact same thing. What people miss about the Bible The woman here rightly said she should know what is in the Bible so she can speak factually to Christians about it. Then she goes on to say shes horrified, having only got 400 pages in, and not even to the New Testament yet because its full of war and bad things... and has a meltdown. A: No. Atheists (and any one in any religion or with no relgion are all in the same boat)- they do not have the ability to follow Christ. Christians were "converted by God", are right with God. Q: What do you think about this?  Theres nothing new here.  First, They dont have those without a prexisting Christian worldview.  They do believe in the concepts of right and wrong. The problem is that they have no logical reason to believe in right and wrong within their own worldview. Right and wrong are Christian concepts which go back to Genesis. By attempting to be moral, therefore, the person is being irrational; for he must borrow biblical concepts which are contrary to his worldview. Q: 54% of my country of the Netherlands does not believe in any god. Including me.
