Feeling drawn to God & Christianity

Q: I have been feeling this feeling/need to open my heart to God and Jesus. I was baptized as a baby under the Catholic religion, but my mom did it only because that's what everyone was doing back then whether you believed in it or not. After that I was raised basically in an Atheist household. I feel ready to start this journey, but feel lost and disoriented. I don't know where to start. Can you give some clarity and reassurance here, because I don't know anyone who can help guide me on the right path. Thx. A: Sure. And praise God he is drawing you to Himself. 🎉 Here's a quick help.  1. Obey the Gospel (to get saved) Then... living out your faith: 2. Find a bible church (to join) 3. Get Baptized 4. Read Bible daily, (apply what you learn) 5. Worship every Sunday with believers The 1st thing to do is to hear and obey the Gospel . Go here   (vid clip). If you do this, you are saved.  The next thing is to start reading the Bible . There are 66 books in the Bible so...

Repentance

Repentence  isnt a "work. Not a work in a religious sense (that false religions try to do). For a non Christian, clarity on "repentance" is needed.  Repentance is a change of mind, a turning from and turning to. You need to change our mind about who is on the throne of your life. As the perfect and good God he is a just and righteous Judge. This means he must damn you to permanent eternal Hell... with that knowledge, a person will do one of 2 things. 1. Keep living how they are [continuing to do sinning]- Maybe feel remorseful [cuz God has ...

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved .” (Romans 10:8‭-‬13)   Salvation comes down to 2 steps, but one. Obey the Gospel   1. Recognize your sin & need for the Savior. That Savior is the "biblical" historical true Jesus Christ. More on repentance   2. In prayer to God: A. Repent & Renounce your wicked ways (once and for all) Turn from sin.  B. Turn to Jesus for forgiveness & salvati...
