Q:Why do we need apologists to “apologize“ for the Bible? Why do we need people like William Lane Craig or Frank Turek or Cliff Knechte & others to speak in such confusing philosophical parameters, to explain to us concepts that should be crystal clear to anyone reading the Bible? Why do we need scholars we hear about to clear up all the thousands of misconceptions and misinterpretations of the Bible? If we put 100 people in 100 different rooms and ask them simple Christian doctrine questions like how do you get to heaven, what is the Trinity, or what is the book of Revelations about, etc. We get 100 different answers. To me, this is why Christianity is so obviously a man-made philosophy. A God would have no reason to be that confusing.  Edit: My Mormon friends tell me the exact same thing. Q: saw a short video (Christian/Muslim debate) today, & am not on either side, but would like clarity from Christians on this.  So Jesus is God... but he prayed to himself to be saved from death....and raised himself from the dead.... but the idea makes zero sense to me... help ??? I haven't found a church yet, and need some help:  The Bible says that’s while visiting the temple in Jerusalem at age twelve, Jesus became separated from his parents and was inadvertently left behind. Jesus did claim to be God. This is the very reason he said only God is good… If one believe Jesus is Good that is their admission of him being God. Most people don't pick up on or grasp this even in Mark 10:18 "And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. " Jesus is saying are you calling me God? Is Jesus here rebuking the man for calling Him good and thereby denying His deity?
