The Law of Christ.  To get started read Romans 7 and 8, or the entire book of Romans.  Rom. 8:2 tells us about The Law of the Spirit of life in Christ. This law has freed those who are "born again" from the Law of sin and death. If you read Romans 8:1-11 you will see in verse 10 the body is dead because of sin but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. So, Christ's righteousness "covers you" because of the redemption transaction, [he traded places with you on the cross], but also the Holy Spirit then lives in you [permanently eternally indwelling]. This is what Scripture reveals to us. So you now have been transformed by God into a new creation, you have the righteous nature now.  There may be times where information on this site speaks of dragging your old body or war-ing with sin but that is really meaning you are to live in righteousness. How does everyone come to Christ? How did you? I've been an atheist (unreligious) all my life, and recently started thinking about Christianity. I would like to hear how it’s impacting your life and how you knew it was the correct choice to convert. A: It is the right choice, because it IS the right thing to do. That becomes clear from understanding the Bible. God gave us this special revelation to know Him, understand the problem and solution...and to take action. We are sinners in a fallen world. Sin entered because Adam sinned (and all humans are born from our ancestor Adam, so all inheirited the sin nature). God provided a way for us to be redeemed from the curse, the Law of sin and death, by way of Jesus as our redeemer/Savior. By Him we have forgiveness and right standing with God, and live in life and freedom in the Law of Christ. God commands us all to repent and trust in Jesus because he appointed a day for judgment against sin. He wants us to flee to Christ...

Why dont Christians follow everything the Bible says? First, the reason there is confusion on this because the unsaved [spirirually blind] cannot understand the Scriptures as the born again do, [see with spiritual eyes; by the Holy Spirit].  Here are a few verses about spiritual blindness: 2 Corinthians 4:4 - "The god of this age [Satan] has blinded the minds of unbelievers , so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
