Christians are humble not prideful. Reconcile when you are wrong, and don't cause problems so your witnessing and influence among them is gone. That doesn't mean compromise on truth but there's much we believers need to realize and also be sensitive to in any given situation that comes up. I counsel on a myriad of relationship issues among various people and sometimes the professing believer is not mature in the faith and needs guidance.  Christians are not to think selfishly, entitled lyrics, not pushing for your way... its wrong. It's sinful, and doesnt show Christlikeness. God is truth and only speaks truth.  Thus God is trustworthy, truthful, and all he told us that awaits after death is true. It's true that all die due to sin and people's soul will either go to Hell or to be with Jesus. We know from History that Biblical people and places were real. Prophecy confirms the Bible, Science confirms the Bible. Even Archeology since 1928 has unearthed a ton and only points to what Scripture has said. We also know from history and Scripture and non Christian Historians since Jesus day, that Jesus of Scripture lived and resurrected.
