A Believers Eternal Future

Wonderful to think about Heaven, and the New Earth.  An eternal place where no sin exists nor will it ever enter existence again. It's pretty amazing at what we know about Heaven, as Scripture talks about Heaven 582 times!

  

As a believer who is still living on Earth, we have benefits of our redeemed status and personal relationship and right standing with God. From the moment we are saved, until we die and leave this body, and step into eternity and see Jesus, we have blessings and benefits.  Whether that's 70 years as a believer on earth, 40, 30, or 10 years or less. 

There's so many things we are given, blessed with, have ability for, to, and do. So many things we enjoy as individuals, among believers, and in service to God. So much we have been given also in how we can live and have assurance, hope and trust in the things God has revealed to us. And how he has empowered us to live, respond in all situations in life, And in service to Him in daily life, as well as at church and among believers.

The list is so Very long of all the blessings. And the rewards that we are blessed with in heaven, and on earth as we live in this life, are endless. 

Enjoy the amazing things and benefits we get here on earth, and that benefit us in eternity. 

Store up treasures in Heaven. 

Enjoy eternity in a place sin will never enter, where true peace, love and goodness exist. 

New Steps as a Christian 😀

Below resources will help you but remember:

⚜Read the Bible daily & pray daily. Obey what you learn

⚜Find a Biblical church, get baptized, get discipled, grow in faith, serve God, and enjoy the Christian life. 

However, note that even though there are blessings we experience here... Being saved doesn't give us "a good life now" > that starts in eternity. So don't confuse the two. 

We are still in a fallen world and live among those not in Christ. But, so in life, when troubles, trials, problems and difficulties [or persecution] come, you can rest in the promises and truths and word of God, & that He will help you through it. It is a benefit of being in Christ. Jesus said, I am with you always. God will never leave or forsake us. He will use us for his purposes, and also grow our faith, disciplines us, prune us, and makes us more and more like Christ -till the day he calls us home. No matter the circumstances you experience, you can rejoice as a citizen of Heaven. This world is not your home. Your best life begins in eternity when you go home to Jesus.  So live an obedient loving life towards God here on earth, and do all the good you can with a gospel focus and Godward heart, out of love for your Savior and your Heavenly Father. Live in this peace, joy, and His promises. Dont focus on things in this temporary life here, compared to sin free perfect eternity in Heaven.... things on earth are but a vapor. 

Be blessed.

We won't be perfect until we get to Heaven. A believer grows in their faith, becomes more and more like Christ (called sanctification). A believer might make mistakes sometimes, and still sin - but this is why we are to read the Bible daily and pray daily, so we can think on godly things, apply it to our life, conquer sins, and the Holy Spirit will help guide us. 

Throw away everything worldly, everything sinful, and focus your life on walking rightly in Christ Jesus. And when you sin and make a mistake, you can go right to God in prayer through Jesus. Scripture says He is our great High Priest and the mediator between God the Father and mankind. God tells us to pray without ceasing. Pray at all times. So pray anytime and talk with your Heavenly Father and Jesus your Savior. 😊

"Know that Scripture 📖 is God speaking to us, and prayer🙏 is us talking to God." Which is why, since we have the complete Word of God today, the Bible, we can enjoy and study and learn from everything God wants us to know, apply and enjoy.  God's Word in our daily reading and study is essential, we dont rely on just 1 sermon a week to tell us what God wants us to know. It's a personal relationship where we have total access to God, through Scripture and prayer. And more  benefits of corporate worship and study among the congregation of believers on Sundays. But our personal relationship is daily. Just like you wouldn't go a week without interacting with your spouse, or your best friend. Nor would you go a week without eating. The Word is also our spiritual food. 🙂

Sunday Worship is important, but your Daily walk is of great importance in your relationship with God. 

Be reading the Bible daily. It is of vital importance!
